About the Author:

James R. Working Man Hammond

Born 1951, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Known to his friends and readers as J R Hammond.

Mr Hammond burst upon the literary scene with his breakthrough book, "PRESIDENT CLINTON AND THE WORKING MAN" Black Belt Press, 1994, which tells the story of his remarkable election as Delegate to the 1992 Democratic National Convention and his taking of New York City by storm.

He is a retired coalminer, and still breathing despite having been hit by a 60-Ton locomotive in 1998, and dying from a heart attack twice on May 7, 2011.

He recommends to avoid both if possible.
