Publisher Description: The church behind walls is not the perfect will of God. God wants His church to be a true salt and light in her community. He desires her to be open, accessible and relevant, touching and transforming people, places and localities in a quiet, powerful, positive and non-violent ways. God wants His church to be a strong voice for righteousness, godliness and justice, displaying kingdom living that dispels darkness in every locality. He wants His church to affect, change and impact her communities in positive and permanent ways. This book is my sincere and humble attempt to wake up the church to this divine expectation. I consider this book as very crucial to every kingdom-minded Pastor and leader. Two years ago, we held a five days conference on this subject with hundreds of Pastors in attendance and testimonies have been coming in since then. But much more still needed to be done. If churches are abreast of this truth and they apply it, then every community can be changed and won for Christ in our lifetime. Therefore, it behoves every leader to take the truths in this book to heart and intentionally adopt, adapt and apply them in order to be true light and salt in their communities. Let us break down every wall enclosing the church. It is only when we consciously and deliberately pull down the walls that people can have access to the church and Christ. As long as the walls remains, the church will be lonely, shallow, empty and impactless in the community and that will not make heaven to rejoice. |
