Think of all the child Saints in the history of the Church, like St. Maria Goretti, St. Dominic Savio, and St. Agnes. There's no reason your child can't be like them.

And think of how Mary requested the help of children during her many apparitions, such as those of Fatima and Lourdes.

Your role in preparing your child to help Jesus and Mary is indispensable. That's why the Church says...

"Since parents have given children their life, they are bound by the most serious obligation to educate their offspring and therefore must be recognized as the primary and principal educators. This role in education is so important that only with difficulty can it be supplied where it is lacking" (Declaration on Christian Education, #3).

Because the Bible says: "Train a boy in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not swerve from it" (Prov. 22:6).
