Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in Minnesota and continues to write about fun things like space aliens and superheroes. Blake has written more than fifty chapter books and graphic novels for children.Kalz, Jill: - Jill Kalz is the author of more than 70 children's books. Her picture book Farmer Cap (Picture Window Books) was a finalist for a 2008 Minnesota Book Award and the winner of the Readers' Choice Award and an AEP Distinguished Achievement Award. Jill also writes short stories and poetry for adults. She works as a children's book editor and lives in Minnesota with her charismatic dog, Tuckerbean.Miller, Connie Rose: - Connie Colwell Miller is a writer, editor, and teacher who lives and works in Mankato, Minnesota.
