What a sweet movie What a twisted concept of angels Hollywood has also given us "Angels in the Outfield," "Meet Joe Black," "City of Angels" and some forty plus other titles.1 Man's view of angels began a long time before Hollywood got involved. Think of the art of the old masters. Many of them depicting the birth of Christ, showed little winged beings hovering around. Also standing in wonderment would be angelic female figures with flowing hair and bright wings. But, then, of course, we have the biblical stories that give us good glimpses into the realm of angels. Those revelations will make up the material for this book. Others have written some hair-raising and incredibly inspiring books about personal encounters with angels. There are some very good ones on the market. However, I am leaving those efforts to the very gifted writers who were led to share in that way. This book will focus entirely on the biblical revelation about angels. I use the method of questions and answers. I fully realize that you may have other questions that I may not address. I hope and pray that if I failed to address a particular question, it is because the Bible does not address it. If that is not the case, then I apologize ahead of time. |
