This biography begins with the passion of John George as he tells his story of trying to protect his children and family from the blight and degradation caused by drug dealers and crime surrounding his home. Each chapter flows from one to the other, not just telling the story of Blight Busters but bringing it to life in just the way I feel I have lived it. Kishell has done more that capture my sentiments - she has embraced the emotion and personal depth of what I feel. In her own way, Kishell has made the impossible, possible. I am not a writer or a poet but I am devoted to my mission to rebuild Detroit and Kishell has spoken with my spirit bringing to life this passion of mine in a way I would never be able to in written word.
