Contributor Bio(s): Beaumont, Charles: - Charles Beaumont (1929-1967) was a prolific American writer of speculative fiction, including the signature collection Night Ride, and Other Journeys, also available from Blackstone and Skyboat. His stories provided the source material for over twenty classic Twilight Zone episodes. Bradbury, Ray D.: -Ray Bradbury (1920-2012), one of the most popular science fiction writers in the world, wrote more than five hundred short stories, novels, plays, and poems. He won many awards, including the National Book Award and the Grand Master Award from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Shatner, William: -William Shatner is an acclaimed actor, musician, recording artist, author, and film director. He is the author of nine Star Trek novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Ashes of Eden and The Return. He is also the author of several nonfiction books, including Get a Life! and I'm Working on That. In addition to his role as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek, Shatner has starred as Denny Crane in the hit television series Boston Legal--a role for which he has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
