Connie, a teacher from Wisconsin, drove to Texas to visit her brother who settled in the area ranching and working at the mill. Tow truck called, he waited with her but the car still wouldn't start and had to be towed to Red's Garage, the only one in town. Russell McCarty drove Connie out to her brother's ranch and she got reacquainted with her sister in law, Debbie. On Sunday the family went to a unique church, a cowboy church. Although different from what she was used to, Connie liked the charismatic style of worship. After church the family met at Jack and Debbie's ranch for dinner under the big tree in the back yard.
