Contributor Bio(s): Garbe, Suzanne: - Suzanne Garbe has been writing for fun ever since elementary school, when she wrote a series of mystery stories starring her two best friends. Now, as an adult, she's the author of several children's books as well as published essays about her life experiences. She is currently writing a memoir about her experiences living and teaching in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where she spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. In addition to writing, Kara loves traveling, camping, teaching, and eating international food. She grew up in Virginia, but now lives in Minnesota with her husband, two stepsons, and a lot of houseplants.Leavitt, Amie Jane: - Amie Jane Leavitt is an accomplished author and photographer who loves to travel the globe in search of interesting story ideas and beautiful places to capture in photos. Amie has written nearly 50 books for children. She graduated from Brigham Young University as an education major and has since taught all subjects and grade levels in both private and public schools. She also has contributed to online and print media, and has worked as a consultant, writer, and editor for numerous educational publishing and assessment companies.Morey, Allan: - Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin.
