The only reason Luke is even at the church youth overnight event is because his mother convinced him to go after an argument. His mother wants him to be baptized but, at 15, Luke doesn't believe he is old enough and doesn't know Jesus well enough. That changes when Luke meets an angel who says he has been chosen by God to deliver a message. First Luke must decide if what he saw and heard is real and then he must decide if he will go.
