| Publisher Description: Over the last few years, writing has been my source of hope. I published my first book, 'The day I woke up', in May 2013, and now, I will be sharing some of the poetry and writing that really captures the spectrum of emotions I have been through over the last few years. My battle with being alone in the world, not knowing anyone; my battle with the memory of the rape; my battle with alcohol and self-harm, suicide, and depression; my hope in recovery, and my up and downhill journey.
