Publisher Description: This simple little children's book was inspired by God; so it is a faith-based book. It is my hope that each chapter makes you want to grow closer to your children and grandchildren and even closer to God, and that it may also inspire you to write about your children and grandchildren. This book's journey began on February 14, 2010. It was on an early Sunday morning, 45 days into the New Year (2010), the Lord pressed upon my heart to start a journal about my thoughts concerning my first grandson. I knew from the beginning that I wasn't going to be disciplined enough to write every day like most journalists, so I invented a second option-I started writing chapters of the little things involving the developments of an infant coming home from the hospital and the new challenges he would face going from his mother's womb to his first room, the nursery. Each of the chapters consists of stories about a baby's first time to experience something new in his young life. The book begins with the narrator of the book, a BIG teddy bear named BIGGIE, introducing the readers to a baby coming home from the hospital and a BIG bear falling in love with him. The book is filled with special stories of family love and adventures that are supported by biblical principals and scripture. The book ends with BIGGIE becoming the family's hero |
