The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, featuring his famous detective. The original book was illustrated by Sidney Paget. These are the first adventures of Sherlock Holmes. They were originally published in Strand Magazine between July 1891 and June 1892. The book was published in England 14 October 1892 by the publisher George Newnes Ldt. The initial print run was 14,500 copies. The book was banned in the Soviet Union in 1929 because of occultism even if the book does not show any trace of such thematic Summary: The King of Bohemia just find Sherlock Holmes to give him a deal: he will soon marry a princess prude but an old love, Irene Adler, threatens to derail by publishing a picture of them both.
