Publisher Description:
Denial of death is a common occurrence in our daily walk. Everyone of us rarely talk about it and if we do, we joke about it as if it is something that is not going to come to us. Everyday we hear of accidents, tragedies, and the many other occurrences that happen everyday that result in death. Everyday you will read in your local newspaper obituaries of those that have passed away. Death knows no age or gender or status. Rich and poor die, male and female, young and old; we are all going to die sometime, but usually refuse to think or talk about it; we in effect consciously or subconsciously deny it; until it comes close to home where we are reminded that death can come knocking on any door. When death does come close to home and we are attending a funeral, then we may talk about it, think about it and consider it. It is said that nothing is sure except death and taxes; see, joke about it, but one thing is for sure, we will all experience death throughout our lifetime whether it be a friend, neighbor, relative, or even ourselves.
