Contributor Bio(s): Zamori, May Britt Bjella: - I am born in 1963 on a farm in Ål in Hallingdal, a small village in the middle of Norway. I learned to knit and crochet at young age, since my mother, aunt and grandmother were all competent knitters and were selling sweaters to the nearest craft shop and on order. After the gymnasium I moved to Oslo, I went to school for 1 year and then started to work in Hotel Bristol, where I still am. I have always been knitting/crocheting and I have always been very enthusiastic about everything that has to with yarns and colours, but it is the last 15 years it has been more than a hobby. Then I met a famous Norwegian designer whom I learned a lot from, and she introduced me also to other people in the business. Today I therefor deliver designs to a Norwegian magazine, are consultant for other craft authors and translate books and draw charts for publishers and magazines. Since I gave out my book, I will also have workshops about crocheting at fairs and events all over Norway.
