Publisher Description:
Do you desire to know God more intimately and to feel His unconditional love? Do you struggle in trying to hear His voice and leading; and to feel His presence in a more profound way? "Be Still and Know That I Am God" will help lead you to a place of being quiet before Him; feeling His love and His presence. It will help you learn how to trust Him to equip you for greater service, and challenge you to be all you can be in Him. You will begin to see Him as your Friend, your Counselor, your Provider, your Lover and more. As you practice the principles set forth in this book, you will enable God to do great and mighty things in your life. As you are willing to let God have His way with you, you will be blessed beyond all you can imagine Jackie lives with her husband Gene in Honesdale, Pa. She is the mother of a son and a daughter, and grandmother of eight. She was the director for an adult literacy program for five years, before leaving to enter the ministry. She served as Assistant pastor and Co-Pastor of new Covenant Fellowship in Hawley, Pa. before becoming full pastor in 2006. Jackie has been involved in many areas of ministry including the care and teaching of children through adults, and being mission's director for a time along with her husband Gene (having taken a missions trip to Haiti prior to that). She has served in prison ministry, done numerous Bible studies, and is certified in biblical counseling. Her greatest joy is now serving as a shepherd to those God has placed in her care.
