Ren has also translated a large number of famous children's literary works from Russian, English, Italian and Japanese, such as The Complete Andersen's Fairy Tales, Pushkin's Fairy Tales, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Pippi Longstocking, and Russian Folk Tales. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Translation at the Second National Translation Conference in 2012.
