Contributor Bio(s): Long, William R.: - William R Long, M Div, Ph D, J D, is an award-winning author who has written more than 20 books in biblical studies, biography, legal history, education theory, the study of words, and classical civilizations. He has been a professor of religion and humanities, history and government, and law, as well as a pastor, editorial writer and litigation attorney. He currently is completing a commentary on Confucius' Analects.Chen, Eurydice: - Eurydice Chen is a recent graduate of Willamette University with a B.A. in Economics. Since moving to the States in 2006, she has continued her study of the Chinese language and culture on her own and has been involved in many Chinese-English translation projects. She has had a long-time interest in Chinese poetry and offers a unique cultural perspective on traditional references in the contemporary context. Eurydice was part of the student translation team for Dr. Juwen Zhang's book, Metafolklore: Stories of Sino-US Folkloristic Communication (Volume One), published in 2017. |
