Contributor Bio(s): Hoyle, Jack: - Jack Hoyle was twenty years old when he received a heart and double lung transplant. This miracle gave him a second chance at life. Jack is now 37 years old, has a wonderful 3-year-old boy and is happy and healthy. Without that miracle of the transplant none of these things would have been possible. Jack still creates art and illustrations, and is now an award winning children's book illustrator and artist. He has served over thirty years in service to the public schools of North Carolina as a teacher's assistant, classroom teacher, and administrator. In addition, he has served as a trainer for the North Carolina Teacher Academy, A North Carolina Consultant in the areas of curriculum and leadership, and has served as a National Board Examiner for the National Council Accreditation for Teacher Education now referred to as CAEP or the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
