Publisher Description:
"The teaching that the author shares within the book is insightful and eye-opening. He covers an important topic that is beneficial for Catholic Americans and those who have had experience with this religion." Xulon Press Editors, American Catholicism, Highway to Hell? Xulon 2021. "American Catholicism: Highway to Hell? Presents a series of rhetorical attempts to save "the patient" of Catholic doctrine in America from the corruption of certain of its stewards' personal ambitions." Christopher Clancy, author and editor. "Compromise is as impossible between the Church of Christ and the idolatry of wealth which is the practical religion of capitalist societies..." R. H. Tawney, Religion and the rise of Capitalism. "Read this book! It is not only a 'Quo Vadis" told from a perspective of personal experiences as a seminarian in Rome and in his subsequent journey, but a delving into myriad questions and inquiries about the future of the Catholic Church. Palacios presents an urgently needed basis for discourse in these times of turmoil in the Church [...]" Eamon M. Magee, Journalist. Gonzalo T. Palacios (Venezuela, 1938) obtained a Licentiate in Philosophy at the Gregorian University in Rome where he pursued studies in Theology. His Doctorate in Philosophy is from the Catholic University of America. He authored Mary, the Unwed Mother of God (2017) and The Catholic Church Needs Martin Luther, (2019), both rigorously dogmatic. Palacios' unconventional analyses have not won him friends among Catholics. Dr. Palacios retired after fifty years teaching philosophy. His wife Anne, their three sons and eight grandchildren are now completing his education. gpgpalacios@gmail.com.
