Contributor Bio(s): Smith, Jen: - I currently reside in Rockford IL, and I am full time employed as an animal-loving Veterinary Technician. I love what I do and I love working with the animals every day, I've come to grow so close to some of my patients and their owners I don't know what I'd do without them. I spent most my childhood in Illinois before moving to Mississippi with my family, I then returned to live with and take care of my grandmother and great grandmother (who just celebrated her 97th birthday). I love being active and outdoors whenever possible. My favorite season is Autumn. I'm an avid gym goer, steady state cardio makes for good reading time! I LOVE reading and finding new stories to dive into. My bookshelf is completely random, it ranges from murder mysteries and adventure to romance and self-help books. I also like to read psychology books and books on understanding human behavior, it's a hobby of mine. I'm constantly learning and happy to do so, I feel we only have one life to live so why not be all we can be.West, Clive: - "Clive West was born in the West Country of England in 1960. He was educated at a traditional English public school before going on to university to study civil engineering. Over the years, he has worked as a civil engineer, tutor of maths and science, schools quizmaster, employment agency boss, and writer. His fictional work includes an anthology of short stories with twists (Hobson's Choice), a full-length novel about official corruption wrecking the lives of ordinary people (The Road) and another in the style of a Victorian romance (Blakefields Mansion). His non-fiction consists of a book about successful interviewing techniques for job hunters and a guide for sufferers of lymphedema - something he has first hand experience of. Another collection of twist-in-the-tail short stories (A Snake in the Grass) is due to be published very soon as is the prequel/sequel to Blakefields Mansion (Stonecrest). He is also a busy ghost-writer, covering a wide range of genres from historical romance to crime in cyber-space although his specialism is in matters relating to training, business and employment. Clive now lives in a rebuilt farmhouse in the Umbrian region of Italy along with Damaris, his writer wife of 26 years, and their three rescue dogs. You can see more about their writing on their company (Any Subject Books) website - www.anysubject.com. All communications are welcomed and are answered personally."
