Contributor Bio(s): McClintock Miller, Shannon: - Shannon Miller, an international speaker and author, is the K-12 district teacher librarian at Van Meter Community School District in Iowa. She also serves as the Future Ready Librarians Spokesperson working with librarians, educators and students around the world. Shannon is the author of the award winning The Library Voice blog. She has published two children's book series on libraries and Makerspaces with Capstone. She has a professional book with ISTE coming out in 2019. In 2014, Shannon was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker. In 2016, she was awarded the Making it Happen Award by ISTE. In 2018, she was named the AASL Social Media Superstar Leadership Luminary.Durst, Kathryn: - "Kathryn Durst grew up in Peterborough, Canada, and has been drawing ever since she could hold a pencil. She has a passion for children's illustration. She works in a variety of styles, using both traditional and digital mediums. Her art has been described as charming, whimsical, expressive, and full of life. Kathryn attended Sheridan College for the Bachelor of Applied Arts - 2D Animation Program. In her third year, she completed her internship at Pixar Animation Studios for storyboarding. She also works as an animator, filmmaker, and puppeteer. She loves working on children's entertainment, publications, and media, especially kid's books and television series. Kathryn also loves dancing, sewing, sculpting, playing accordion, cooking, and hanging out with her mini dachshund, Chili Dog. She is currently based out of Toronto."
