Publisher Description:
Tricksy, a small tabby cat, loves to curl up on her pillow in a pool of sunshine, but she also likes adventure. When Tricksy's human decides to take a vacation at the beach, the cat is more than willing to accompany her. Tricksy, who listens to everything her human says, knows all about the wonderful things to see and do on a South Carolina barrier island and is happy to see a turtle nest on the beach her first day. Since it's September, the turtles could hatch at any moment and that excites the small cat. However, there must not be any lights on at the beach houses after dark, or the hatching babies will not know where to go. Supposed to follow the moon's path to the sea, too many times, baby turtles get confused and never make it. One night, it happens. One of the beach houses has a bright light on over their back porch. Only Tricksy the tabby cat is around to save the day.
