Publisher Description:
It is interesting to note that there are various definitions of a man of God. Some have referred to a man of God as one who is called or chosen or appointed or selected or ordained and or empowered to function in an office by religious organization or church leadership. To some, everyone in cassock or suit and collar is a man of God hence there are rampant deception all over the place in the name of God. In fact, everyone leading a crowd in a building often erroneously referred to as 'church' is a Man of God as far as the world is concerned. The truth, however, is that not everyone is a man of God and really, not everyone can be referred to as such. Who then is a man of God you may ponder? The Bible provides a very deep insight on who man of God is. For everyone with a calling of God upon his or her life, it is imperative to understand the mindset of the Almighty God on this particular concept. This is more so giving the prevailing atmosphere where 'materialism and miracles' tend to define a man of God. According to the word of the Lord Jesus in Matt.19:8, from the beginning, it was not so. So, how was it from the beginning and how should it be even at present? That is precisely what this book aims to achieve. This book, therefore, aims to x-ray who a man of God is in the light of the scriptures and goes further to capture who is an errant man of God. It therefore serves as a practical guide for all Ministers of the gospel irrespective of their area of calling. This book is particularly important for existing and upcoming Ministers of the Gospel who is determined to succeed in his or her calling. We trust the Lord to give you a new revelation as you go through this book.
