Publisher Description:
"The Earthlings" is a narration, with protagonist Odysseus (Ulysses), a person with particular talents and terrible abilities that often break loose from the human perception. However Odysseus, having conscience of his abilities, knew from the beginning that although his abilities, he could not exceed the bonds with the earthy gravity... A romantic narration with "innocents" and "guilties," with "crimes" and "punishments," a story with a lot of pain and a lot of nostalgia... The story begins from the moment where the narrator does meet itself in a central street of Athens with his old schoolmate, Odysseus. This drifts him in an excursion with his "borrowed" car in a village of Mani. In the way to Mani, Odysseus reveals him, that they go to the "nekrodeipno," an ancient Greek custom, during which the relatives and the friends, drinking and eating, they remember the deeds of the dead man and narrate his guests and his heroic feasts. There, the narrator meets also his first love, Elizabeth, the twin sister of Odysseus, who was also present for the after funeral dinner. He always feels a deep love for her... But the events are derailing from his original plans...
