As Christians, we pray, "thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven." As you read about Lottie and Teddie and how they dedicate themselves to raising funds for the missionary field, do not fail to recognize the mission field they encounter in their own circle of influence. They are able to be used to spread love in what would appear to be small jestures of kindness such as fetching water, feeding helpless animals, and cleaning up trash. May we all be convicted by the words from Colossians, "and whatsoever ye do, do it hartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; ...for ye serve the Lord Christ." |
