Contributor Bio(s): Scarry, Huck: - 'strong>Huck Scarry is the son of children's authors Patricia Scarry and Richard Scarry. He has illustrated and written numerous children's books and since his father's passing in 1994 has created many new books featuring his father's charming animal characters. The commission to create illustrations for All About Anne was the "most challenging piece of work I have ever done." Huck worked on the spot in the Anne Frank House during several visits there, to get the illustrations as historically correct as possible, yet also engaging for young readers. He lives in Vienna, Austria. |
