Contributor Bio(s): Berridge, David: - At the age of 34 and bored with his job as a civil servant, David saw a 10 minute clip on TV about a race across the Sahara Desert. Two years later, and determined to have just one adventure in his lifetime, he found himself standing on the start line of the 11th Marathon des Sables. At the age of 53, David is still having adventures and continues to race in some of the most extreme Ultradistance races in the world. David lives on the Isle of Wight with his wife Marilyn and is currently writing his second book. And he is still bored with his job as a civil servant! |
