Sherika Powell not only has a heart for women empowerment, and helping women pursue their passions; she is also a childhood survivor of sexual abuse. Her mission is to break the silence from this epidemic that continues to plague our society worldwide. Sherika believes that we should never be ashamed of our broken pieces in our journey because it's in those broken pieces that God's light shines through. All of our stories, our struggles, and our heartaches can all be used to uplift and inspire one another. We are all capable of being victors in our everyday lives. Sherika's many platforms consists of creating and hosting Women Unchained Podcast Show, Motivational Speaking, Author, Writer as well as her latest platform Rogers TV Talk Show Host of "Women on the Rise" a show that highlights women in Durham region, Ontario that are making their mark on the world and pursuing their destiny. Sherika is also a recipient of the award for the Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada 2016.
