Publisher Description: Became a classic work of the great Russian lawyer of the XIX century. It formed the basis of most follow-up studies of Byzantine legal thinking such well-known authors such as IP Medvedev, EE Lipchitz and others. The book consists of two parts (both of which are represented in the distribution), and describes in detail a very long period of Byzantine law - both secular and canon. The concluding part D. Azarevich revised later historiography (as an example, the ratio of the time of publication and Isagogi Prohirona), terminology is also partially outdated (eg Isagoga referred Epanagoge), but overall, the research still is of fundamental importance and worthy of profound study. |
