| Publisher Description: Offshore structures were part of the CCPP construction in Vlore, Albania. These structures were composed of an SBM/CALM for fuel oil downloading and an intake and discharge structure for cooling water.In order to make all the engineering design for the above mentioned structures it was required winds and wave information. This data includes climates and extreme conditions for winds and waves, tidal current data and tidal ranges. In this study are presented the derivation of these conditions. For this study the SWAN wave refraction model was used to predict wave conditions at the site of the SBM/CALM for both extreme events and annually averaged climates. |
