Contributor Bio(s): Berkowitz, Miriam: - Rabbi Miriam Berkowitz received an M.A. and Rabbinic Ordination from the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary in Jerusalem. She has served as Asst. Rabbi of the Park Avenue Synagogue in Manhattan. One of the Conservative Movement's leading experts on mikveh, Rabbi Berkowitz wrote a teshuvah which was accepted by the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards. She lives in Jerusalem where she writes and teaches. |
