Publisher Description: Roy and Toby were both police officers but came from two different worlds. Roy was proud of his Southern heritage, while Toby, being African-American, views the Confederate flag as a symbol of hatred and racism. After the events of Charlottesville they both realize how great these divisions are between them, and they will find that their own personal views and friendship are tested when they wake up the next morning to find themselves in an alternate timeline, a Confederate states of America, where Toby now finds himself a slave, property of a racist who is running for president of the Confederate states of America, and Roy is now slave hunter general, tasked with hunting down renegade and escaped slaves. Can the two of them find some way to get back home, or at least perhaps find some way to get to freedom in the north, in the free land of the United States that still might exist as they once knew it? |
