Publisher Description:
The need to apply scientific and technological changes in a green sense with innovation and application of their results in the world, from thinking, design, production and that consumers themselves generate solutions, products and benefits without consequences, is the obligation of our generations. Technological demands, in a world where it becomes increasingly dependent on the energy resources present in the global supply, have given some solutions, and on the sidewalk in front; creativity and the desire to offer new models of improvement, technology conservation and knowledge transfer have indisputably advanced. However, it is necessary to reduce energy consumption and save in industrial maintenance, in the oil and mining area, adjugating the conservation and improvement of the recovery of non-renewable natural resources, optimizing their consumption. In recent decades, several concepts of poor understanding have been raised, ultimately reflecting the interest in sustaining life on our planet. These concepts are: sustainable development and eco-development. But what are these sustainable technologies that have given or propose sociotechnical solutions, in a complex society where changes are constant. There are automations, accelerated demands, high demands in quality in the shortest possible time, and technical production is focused on substantial and commercial savings in imbalance with the well-being of our societies and our planet. The need to innovate in maintenance technologies as a model of endogenous, equitable, sustainable, ecological, solidarity and distributional development for majority is evident.
