Publisher Description:
This series of books featuring B-Bear as a main character was conceived to combine games, interactive storytelling, and great music in one single experience. This particular story follows the titles of "Scenes from a Childhood", the piano collection written by Robert Schumann. Anthony (Tony) Arthur Augustine is an independent television program creator, producer and host who has been involved in the children's media business for over 20 years. He has produced several children's TV programs for the WNY (Discovering WNY, Discovering WNY Kids edition) and Northern California markets. Anthony began his career in Children's media writing and illustrating several young adult fiction titles before eventually moving into television production. Antonella Di Giulio is a pianist, a music theorist, a pedagogue, author and speaker. From her extra-ordinary life experience she has had the chance to learn about post-traumatic stress, personality disorders and mental health and about how little our society is prepared to deal with such problems. But she has also taken advantage from these experiences by transforming her life into a wonderful work of art.In addition to her doctoral studies in Music Theory and Musicology at the University at Buffalo, Antonella Di Giulio holds a Master Degree in piano performance from the same University, post -diploma certifications in piano performance, a diploma in piano from the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome (Italy). Tony and Antonella collaborated at this book as part of a bigger project which involved children's concerts and school workshops with the goal of inspiring children to unleash their creativity and feel free to express themselves through art, music and writing.
