Publisher Description:
He was a drug addict heavy on Crack and Marijuana, and from a broken home with a broken way of life. He was very carnal and had nothing doing with spiritual things. He took for granted a horrifying dream on a cold September night in 1986, that portrayed some unpleasant signs about a white skinned woman and a pitch dark bottomless pit, but he did not grasp its painful sting until a chilling true story begun to unfold...Tasha, a pretty dark haired American Houstonian was very spiritual and sensitive, while always wanting to appear tough and self-sufficient. There was no place on earth she didn't have a desire to explore. Her first "solo" flight from California to New York City at age 6 was to visit her Mama's family. She was fluent in French and Spanish, and relished this initial "taste of freedom" that launched her passion for travel far and wide. One important pursuit was to conquer Africa. August '88. It was a long and hideous nightmare when she left for England. December '88 she headed overland for Africa. February 17, l989 she went missing. Her parents were in a state of hysteria searching first for their daughter, then for anyone who might have seen her. At first they could elicit no one's help. The U.S. State Dept. would not even take an interest in the case until they had the news media aware of the case, and then they began to take notice. It was a matter of constant phone calls to Washington, England, Ghana and anywhere else they thought they could put out the word. Every waking moment they were busy studying the mystery and calculating their next move. They sent hundreds of letters to missions in Africa, for at one time they did not even know in which country to look for her, but by the cooperation and concentrated efforts of the Embassy in Ghana, the Accra police, Interpol and the Secretary of State, James Baker, David, a Ghanaian, a drug addict with a broken background was arrested in September l989, and then the mystery of 'Where is Tasha' begun to unfold... An intriguing story, a journey of pain, deep emotions, full of human weaknesses, inexplicable circumstances resolving in the realization of the Self. The knowledge that incites the spiritual essence of one's being leading to fulfillment and inner peace...
