Publisher Description:
In this Spanish/English bilingual reader based on the Emmy Award-winning PBS TV show, George is tired of following the house rules. He wants a place of his own where he can draw on the walls and eat corn on the cob with his feet He decides to build a tree house in the yard, but quickly learns that creating a house from scratch just might take more than a pile of plywood and a handful of nails. What he needs is a design plan to make it work. Each language is set in different colors for ease of reading. Bonus activities help build on the construction theme with a matching materials game and a make-your-own sponge blocks craft.

Contributor Bio(s): Rey, H. A.: -

Hans and Margret Rey created many books during their lives together, including Curious George, one of the most treasured classics of all time, as well as other favorites like Spotty and Pretzel. But it was their rambunctious little monkey who became an instantly recognizable icon. After the Reys escaped Paris by bicycle in 1940 carrying the manuscript for the original Curious George, the book was published in America in 1941. More than 200 Curious George titles followed, with 75 million books sold worldwide. Curious George has been successfully adapted into a major motion picture and an Emmy-winning television show on PBS.
