Contributor Bio(s): Crusor-Price, Gina M.: - Dr. Gina Crusor-Price is a retired Advanced Practice Nurse with a Ph.D. in Health Sciences Research from the University of Illinois College of Nursing (Chicago, 2010). She studied under a doctoral fellowship sponsored by the National Institute of Health. Her dissertation research examined African-American clergy's perspectives of their role in HIV risk reduction in the church. She also holds a Master of Arts in Christian Psychology and Pastoral Counseling from Logos Christian College and Graduate School (1996), and a Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University (1981). In ministry, she was introduced to Jesus Christ at age 16, and has been a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel for 25 years. In 1996, she was ordained as a Pastor, and held an Assistant Pastoral position for nine years. She is currently an affiliate minister at Faith Christian Center, under the spiritual leadership of Pastors Freddie and Joanne Hughes. For 12 years, she has coordinated the Covenant Women's Fellowship, focusing on the spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of women today. Dr. Crusor-Price also ministers with her husband, Dr. Charles E. Price, as coordinators of the Covenant Couples' Marriage Ministry at Faith Christian Center. Dr. Crusor-Price is a wife, mother, and grandmother in a blended family of 10 children, currently from ages 24 to 35, and five grandchildren. Through every trial, she stands victoriously on the everlasting faithfulness of God through failures, trials, and difficult challenges. She desires daily to fulfill the God-given mandate for her life: making a difference in the lives of people, particularly women. Her ultimate purpose is for Christ to be magnified in her life.
