Contributor Bio(s): Patel, Shilpa: - Shilpa Patel is from a small New England town and moved to Michigan in 2003. Her passions are traveling and mysteries. As a daughter of immigrant parents, she has had the opportunity to travel back to her ancestral home of India. During her travels, she often wished she could have shared her journeys with her friends. In 2007, after the birth of her daughter Maya, Shilpa recognized the impact her daughter would have by embracing their ancestral values, New England lifestyle, and now the Michigan culture. It would be through these transitions that Shilpa continued to develop her values and learn more about the natural beauty which surrounds us, no matter where we may live.
