Contributor Bio(s): Avern, Rebecca: - Rebecca Avern is an acupuncturist practising in Oxford, UK. After graduating from the Universityof Bristol, she went on to study Integrated TCM and 5 Element acupuncture at the College of Integrated Medicine, graduating in 2001. She is now a senior lecturer and clinical supervisor at the college. She studied paediatrics at post-graduate level with Julian Scott which led to her setting up The Panda Clinic. She incorporates non-invasive techniques, such as shonishin, paediatric tui na and laser acupuncture in her practice. |
