Kris Linner is the Pastor of Care Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Minnesota. A graduate of Bemidji State University and Luther Northwestern Seminary, she has worked extensively with bereavement counseling. She served as Chaplain at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and as Hospice Chaplain at Gundersen Lutheran Hospice in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She also served as a national speaker for Compassionate Bereavement Care with Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Reverend Linner is the author of the self-published children's book My Brother Dave: Living Through a Loved One's Death. She has also written articles for Thanatos, Lutheran Women Today, Connections, and The Lutheran.

Kris and her husband, Michael Erickson, are the parents of two daughters.
