Coauthor Mike Avitt moved to Ringgold County in 1970 and has spent more than 25 years there. He is currently a member of the Mount Ayr Depot Preservation Corporation, and his book Pages and Pictures from the Past: Ringgold County, Iowa 1855 2005 was published in 2009. |
