| Publisher Description: The Hearts on Fire Youth Ministry is committed to rooting our young people in Word of God and find our mission established in Proverbs 22:6 "TRAIN A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT TURN FROM IT." We desire to help today's teenager not only come to Jesus by way of the cross but to cultivate a relationship with our God through bible study and mentorship. We understand that being a young person in today's society is extraordinarily hard on a spiritual level and the challenges that youth face today threaten to overcome them regularly. We seek to plant the seeds of God's grace, love and wisdom in young hearts that they might appropriately arm themselves for their journey through the gauntlet of life. More importantly we hope to feed and water the young after the fields have been planted through discipleship and mentoring - we believe that through teaching the Word of God and establishing a prayer based support system our youths can grow strong in their faith and lead fulfilling Christ centered lives. To this end we have put together a series of Bible studies which rely solely on the Word of God as its premise. In this book there are two separate Bible Studies for teenagers. The first, Anchored in Faith, is the first Bible Study on Proverbs. The second, Have You Met Jesus, is an introduction to the identity of Jesus as well as to the Synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke.
